Gedik Welding, which exports to more than 80 countries with its 100% domestically produced GeKa, GeKaTec, and GeKaMac branded welding consumables and equipment, will continue its R&D activities under the newly established Gedik Welding R&D Center. These activities aim to develop the latest welding technologies, products, and advanced robotic welding and automation services under the GeKaRobot brand.

Established with the approval of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Industry, the R&D Center aims to develop high-tech products to meet the future needs of our country within the scope of University-Industry cooperation projects, especially in collaboration with Istanbul Gedik University.

Gedik Welding will conduct its R&D activities within the scope of new product research and development projects in three categories: Welding Consumables, Welding Machines, and Robotic Solutions.

Since 1963, Gedik Welding has been a solution partner for mega projects both in Turkey and around the world with its accumulated know-how. From this point forward, the company plans to carry out its R&D efforts in a newly structured and conceptualized center, established with the approval and supervision of the Ministry of Industry, and staffed by nearly thirty R&D personnel.
