The 2nd International Hybrid Conference and Exhibition: Advances in Welding and Metal Additive Manufacturing Technologies (WAM2024), held on November 21–22, 2024, at Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia, was successfully concluded with the contributions of speakers and participants from 22 different countries.

The conference began with opening speeches by Hülya Gedik, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gedik University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik, Rector of the University. The event was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Koçak, Chairman of the TKTA Board. Organized with the support of TKTA, IIW, and EWF, the conference helped strengthen international collaboration in welding and additive manufacturing technologies.
