CONFIDENTIALITY, INDEPENDENCE & NEUTRALITY PLEDGE

TR-ANB has an independent structure established to oversee its activities and operations on behalf of IIW and EWF. It also carries out its activities under the Turkish Welding Technology Academy (TKTA) and Gedik Education Foundation (GEV) and is independent of these organizations.

Principles of Independence and Impartiality
  • TR-ANB does not delegate the processes of approving ATBs, organizing courses, conducting examinations and qualification to third parties in line with the EWF-IAB/IIW Guidelines.
  • All qualification and certification activities are carried out in an impartial manner.
  • Senior management and all members declare their commitment to impartiality with official documents.
  • Managing conflicts of interest and maintaining impartiality are fundamental principles.
Management of Conflicts of Interest

TR-ANB, in qualification and certification activities:

  • Apply fair policies and procedures that apply equally to all candidates.
  • Identify, analyze, document and minimize potential conflicts of interest.
  • Approval of ATBs or certification of staff is not subject to any financial or membership requirements.
  • Any procedure that unfairly denies access to applicants is not used.
Threats to Neutrality

TR-ANB continuously assesses threats to neutrality and analyzes the impact of:

  • Property and management relations
  • Financial and contractual links
  • Shared resources and marketing activities
  • Commissions from new applicants
Privacy Policy

TR-ANB adopts the principle of strict confidentiality in all its activities. In this context:

  • Information about the management system, exams and qualification processes is kept confidential.
  • Except for legal obligations, if any information is shared, the relevant person or organization will be informed.

TR-ANB adopts independence, impartiality and confidentiality as fundamental principles and carries out its activities in accordance with international standards.
